Dominic Avo stands down as Chairman of the WBS

On 23rd October 2016 at the AGM of the Welsh Budgerigar Society held at Morriston Memorial Hall,long standing Chairman Dominic Avo stood down as Chairman of the Welsh Budgerigar Society. Dominic had been Chairman since 1997 almost 20 years.



Photo shows the 2016 Welsh BS President presenting Dominic with a suitably engraved clock to mark his retirement from the Society. Dominic as said although standing down as Chairman he is going to continue his close relationship with the Society over the coming years. Dominic's son Vince Avo as been made the new Chairman
